Who Is Gaylord Dutton?
Baltimore Main Streets is proud to welcome Gaylord Dutton to our team as a Business District Specialist. Gaylord is a native Baltimorean and is passionate about built environment. He began his studies at Baltimore City Community College, majoring in construction supervision. He is currently an Architecture and Environmental Design student at Morgan State University.
He recently completed his internship at Greater Homewood Community Corporation/Waverly Main Street as a project assistant. Prior to his studies, Gaylord owned a small landscaping business for seven years.
His assigned neighborhoods are Federal Hill, Waverly, E. Monument Street, and Hamilton-Lauraville. In addition, he will manage several projects including Miracle on Main Streets and the redevelopment of the intersection of Key Highway and Light Street in Federal Hill

Legends Park is Underway!
Baltimore Main Streets is excited to announce that construction is underway for Legends Park! The former, underutilized green space located at North Fremont Avenue and Laurens Street is being transformed into a community park, which will feature a performance stage, chess tables, and murals.
The park is the result of a partnership between the Pennsylvania Avenue Redevelopment Collaborative, the Baltimore Department of Recreation and Parks, the Baltimore Development Coorporation, and Baltimore Main Streets. Construction is scheduled to be complete spring 2009.

Trash Initiative
Baltimore Main Streets is partnering with the Mayor's Office, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Public Works to implement a comprehensive trash initiative in all the designated Baltimore Main Street neighborhoods. Cleanliness of the business districts is a top priority for Baltimore Main Streets and with the support of Mayor Dixon we are proud to work together towards a cleaner and greener Baltimore.
